Created in partnership with Mesabi Outdoor Adventures and The Laurentian Environmental Center and taught by instructors from The National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), this course is great for people of all experience levels. You’ll learn the Patient Assessment System, how to provide effective first aid treatments for injuries and illnesses common in the outdoors, and how to make appropriate evacuation decisions.
This is a 16 hour class taught over two days and your participation will certify you in Wilderness First Aid. This course can also serve to re-certify your Wilderness First Responder Certification with additional testing at the end.
